Earthing bars and conductors are compared by shape, dimensions, stated material and how they will be connected. Prepare the route details and information on both ends of every connection before selecting a specific reference.

Flat bar or round conductor

The category includes flat earthing bars, round conductors and mounting accessories. Distinguish the conductive element itself from a holder, base or other addition. For a bar, compare width and thickness; for a round conductor, diameter. Check these dimensions against intended connection elements and project requirements.

Check material for the specific combination

Names include aluminium and galvanised versions and insulated and uninsulated conductors. These guide searching but do not independently answer whether every connection is permissible. Check exact material, coating and use conditions in the chosen product's documentation. Do not assume universal metal compatibility solely from the general purpose "earthing".

For connection points, browse earthing connectors. Check the permissible shape and size on each side, the number of intended connections and the accessories. A clamp for a round conductor and a clamp for a strip are compared using different connection data; external resemblance is insufficient for replacement.

Quantity and components along the route

Measure the required length according to the specification and check the sales unit. For a roll, establish whether the displayed quantity applies to the entire pack or an individual unit of measurement. For holders and bases, check the intended surface or profile and included parts. Keep these items separate from the conductor in the order list.
