Tool sets

For tool sets, contents matter more than the total number of parts. Compare the included pliers, screwdrivers and accessories with your tasks, then check dimensions, exact references and whether the stated case or pouch is included in the purchase.

Choose a set for the operations required

The category includes plier sets, screwdriver sets and mixed sets in a case or bag. Record what you want to do with them: grip, cut, work with screws or prepare cable. Then find the relevant tool in the set's list. The general purpose in the title does not replace checking individual items.

For pliers, match every included item's type and length to your existing tools. Two sets with identical plier counts may cover different task combinations. Distinguish a set of different tools from a set containing several sizes of one type.

Profiles, dimensions and exact references

For screwdrivers, check the selection of slotted, PH and PZ profiles and the tip sizes. A similar appearance does not mean an identical profile. If comparing similar variants of a set, compare the lists line by line, including the designations of more specialised profiles.

Keep the included tools' references. These allow checking the specific version and its limitations in the documentation. For work on electrical equipment, seek applicable data for each tool; handle colour or the set's general name does not establish permissible conditions of use.

Package contents and carrying

Check how the part count is calculated and which accessories are included. Distinguish the tools themselves from a pouch, case or organisational addition. If the photograph shows an open case, compare it with the specific item's description to avoid treating the illustration as a complete delivery inventory.

Also compare how you will carry the set to the workplace. Your existing case may be sufficient, while a kit with a particular pouch makes sense only if the format suits you. For separate organisation, browse tool cases, bags and pouches.

Among the offers from KNIPEX , compare the exact contents of the selected sets. The cases and kits section helps decide whether you need a ready-made set or additions to tools you already own.
