Baking paper

The main choice for baking paper is between a roll to cut to length and ready-cut sheets. Match the format to your trays and preparation method.

Roll or ready-cut sheets

The range includes viGO Premium formats as continuous rolls and sheets arranged in a roll. With the first, cut the required length for the specific tray. With the second, start from a predefined sheet. "Roll" alone is therefore insufficient: check whether it describes continuous paper or packaging of ready-cut sheets.

When frequently using baking trays of different lengths, assess the convenience of cutting to fit each tray. If you usually use one format, compare its dimensions with a ready-cut sheet. Neither approach guarantees a fit for every tray; the decision depends on the area required and whether you also want to cover the sides.

Compare the actual area to be covered

For the Premium roll, the manufacturer specifies a 38 cm width and 8 m length. For Premium sheets, it describes 20 sheets measuring 38 × 42 cm. Use these data to understand the corresponding format and check the exact package. Measure the tray bottom and required allowance separately instead of comparing only external dimensions.

The manufacturer describes double-sided use for the Premium formats considered. Sheets are specified with silicone coating on both sides. These features apply to the corresponding product and do not themselves determine permissible temperature or appliance mode. For these, follow packaging instructions and those of the oven or other appliance used.

Choose according to your working sequence

Before buying, consider when you prepare baking trays and how many different tins you use. For cut lengths, compare roll width; for ready-cut sheets, check both dimensions. If you need to cover the tin's sides, include this in the measurement. Sheet count and total roll length describe different packaging types and do not directly equal numbers of uses.

Retain the material's exact intended use when choosing: a shared place among household consumables does not mean identical conditions of use. Check the format, dimensions and instructions of the selected pack before use.
