Strip or ring module

Category names include strips and ring-shaped modules. Divide the task by what needs fitting into the lighting solution. For a strip, check required length and intended placement method. For a module, establish dimensions, fixing and compatibility with its housing. Do not assume every module replaces a part in any luminaire. Match the reference to the complete equipment's documentation.

Check the entire power supply

Read the electrical data and supplementary components required for the specific product. Clarify what is included in the package and what is selected separately. Do not add a power supply, controller or connector solely because it was used with a similar strip. If control is needed, look for the expressly described capabilities and compatible accessories for the exact reference. A supply or power rating in a catalogue title provides an initial distinction; the final choice follows the manufacturer's confirmed data.

Light and site conditions

For white light sources, colour temperature describes the warmer or cooler shade and does not indicate luminous flux. Compare lumens and power consumption separately. If IP is stated for the product, check the conditions under which the designation applies to the product and its connection. It does not confirm resistance to chemicals, UV or impact. Also specify mounting requirements for the housing and supplementary parts without assuming general suitability for all locations.

If the route requires shortening or joining parts, check whether the specific product permits it and under which conditions. Do not assume the same options for a strip and ring module. Calculate quantities only after checking the exact format.

Choose the format of the complete solution
