Straight or wavy strip
The manufacturer catalogue distinguishes galvanised straight and galvanised corrugated strips. Both forms appear in the collection but should not be treated as one version with different appearance. Record the required shape at the start to compare corresponding versions.
For PV12, reference 67111 corresponds to size 12 × 0,7 mm and length 10 m, while 30540 has the same width and thickness with length 25 m. A 5 mm hole is specified for these exact versions. The data do not describe every straight and corrugated strip from POSIROL.
Check perforation and roll separately
Width and thickness describe the strip cross-section, while the hole is a separate criterion for matching the intended fixing. Roll length determines the specific packaging version. Identical length does not establish identical holes; an identical hole does not mean identical width or shape.
PV12 can be cut to the length required, leaving room for fixing through the perforations. When choosing, consider this difference between the individual section required and total roll length. The selected section's size alone does not determine permissible working load.
The coating does not replace design requirements
The collection also includes a separate black coated version. Compare its own designation and purpose instead of transferring characteristics from another strip. Galvanising or another coating is not a general promise for every corrosive environment, fire-resistant fixing or load-bearing capacity.
