HIKVISION

HIKVISION at Latrand covers components and kits for IP video door entry systems. The indoor station, entrance panel, functional module and mounting accessory are different items. Choose by exact system and generation, because similar codes and different suffixes do not mean identical versions or sets.

The indoor station is the interface inside the room

DS-KH6320-WTE1 is an indoor station for a IP video intercom system. It has a 7-inch TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 × 600. For the exact WTE1 version, Wi-Fi at 2,4 GHz, IEEE 802.11b/g/n and a RJ-45 10/100 Mbps network interface are stated. These are data for the specific station, rather than a general description of every HIKVISION indoor screen.

When comparing, distinguish WTE1 from LE1, WTE2 and variants with an additional suffix. The full code also matters when selecting a replacement component for an existing system. A network interface alone does not establish compatibility with any IP intercom or every entrance panel.

Main input module and extensions

The main DS-KD8003-IME1 contains a camera, microphone, speaker and call button. Infrared supplementary lighting is provided for low-light operation. Its modular interface is for compatible additions such as a keypad, card reader and nameplates. This distinction helps separate the main entrance module from an accessory that adds a specific function.

Match the KD8 submodule to the exact system and suitable surface-mounted or flush-mounted boxes. Do not assume a canopy, bracket or enclosure accessory is included simply because it appears beside the module. Documentation for an /S or (B) version does not automatically replace data for DS-KD8003-IME1 without that suffix either.

Compare the set by its contents

The HIKVISION intercom systems also include KIS603/KIS604 kits, power supplies, PoE switches and a door interface. For a kit, check the exact version and component list. A screen, outdoor unit, support and power supply are separate products unless the specific kit lists them. For broader guidance, use intercoms and video intercoms, retaining compatibility checks by full model.
