IDE

IDE at Latrand focuses on ARGENTA metal enclosures and components for equipping them. When choosing, separate the enclosure, mounting plate and accessories from the electrical equipment inside. Size and door type help narrow the search, but do not alone describe a finished distribution board.

Choose the enclosure by exact configuration

Start with ARGENTA metal enclosures. As a guide, the exact model GN606040 is a steel enclosure for surface wall mounting with external dimensions of 600 × 600 × 400 mm. It has one opaque reversible door. External dimensions are a different criterion from free equipment space and mounting plate dimensions; compare each separately when preparing a design.

GN606040 includes a flat mounting plate made from galvanised sheet steel 2 mm thick. It is supplied unmounted in the package, together with the enclosure and accessories. A plate in the kit therefore does not mean circuit breakers, busbars, wiring or controls are installed. This distinction is also useful when comparing two enclosure offers that look similar at first glance.

Material and protection apply to the model

With GN606040, the housing and door are cold-rolled steel, the seal is injected polyurethane and the polyester finish is RAL 7035. The stated IP66 and IK10 apply to this version under the manufacturer's conditions. Cable entries, openings and added accessories must be considered as part of the selected configuration; the empty enclosure's protection does not automatically prove identical protection after every modification.

If a different access arrangement is required, browse two-door ARGENTA. The data for GN606040 do not determine the material, included components or degree of protection of all two-door and combinable variants.

Accessories have their own specifications

The range includes cable entries, rain hoods, thermostats, heaters and enclosure fans. Their selection requires compatibility with the specific enclosure and equipment purpose. Do not assume an accessory is included merely because it is shown beside a distribution board from the same series. For the other components, continue to distribution boards and electrical equipment, retaining separate items for the enclosure, its accessories and internal components.
