With EKINEX, decorative design and device function are selected together but checked separately. The collection at Latrand presents frames, faceplates, mounting accessories, KNX controls, Delégo panels, conventional sockets and separate audio components. Start with the function required, then choose the exact system, opening and matching components.

The frame, faceplate and support have different roles

In FF/71 designer systems, the manufacturer distinguishes Form and Flank frames from Surface faceplates. Supports and mounting accessories have separate references. Buying a faceplate should therefore not be treated as buying a complete switch or socket: review exactly what the specific item includes.

With EKINEX frames , compare the series, number and type of openings and corresponding panel reference. 55 × 55 and 60 × 60 openings are separate variants. Opening size is not the product's external size and does not alone determine the installation box required.

Match the appearance to the exact system

If your focus is a particular finish, FF Metal faceplates are one of the separate comparison categories. Matching colour or a similar appearance does not prove compatibility between series. Keep frame, panel and accessory designations together to check the assembly before choosing.

The KNX function belongs to the exact device

EK-ED2-TP and EK-E13-TP are push-button KNX interfaces with a climate controller. This characteristic does not extend to a passive frame, cover or conventional socket. When comparing KNX control units , distinguish the control interface from other system components and check the reference for the required task.

Delégo is represented by various Smart, Basic and Plus panels. A similar name is no basis for assuming an identical protocol or set of functions. For each version, compare the description with the control required instead of transferring characteristics from another panel or series.

Select audio components separately

The audio systems include separate amplifiers and transducers. Catalogue transducer variants distinguish glass, wood and plasterboard. This is a specific selection criterion by purpose; do not assume an identical version for every surface. The final reference list must separate decorative components, controls and the audio section because they solve different tasks.
