Choose the audio components shown according to the sound source, amplification method and number of zones. First determine the sound system architecture before comparing models solely by wattage in the title.

Amplifier for transducers or a network system

EK-PW1-AU is a class D amplifier for the Ekinex electroacoustic transducer system. It has a high- or low-level input and a RCA signal input. This selection requires clarification of the source and transducers as parts of the system; the network playback functions of another model should not be attributed to it.

EK-30S-AU is a stereo streaming amplifier with Ethernet, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Control through SENTIO and support for local and network sources give it a different task. For sound in several rooms, the manufacturer describes using several devices on one network. Plan the number of rooms and the sources each will use.

When four separate zones are needed

EK-50Q-AU contains four amplifiers for four stereo zones with independent inputs and outputs. This allows planning which zone will receive which signal. For control through SENTIO, the mobile device must be on the same network, while online services require internet. Clarify these conditions while preparing the site.

Choose along the entire signal chain

Describe where the sound comes from, how many rooms are served and whether they need different content. For each zone, check the number and type of speakers, compatibility with the amplifier and the inputs provided. A wattage designation without load, supply and operating mode conditions is not enough to compare two devices.

In speakers and loudspeakers , consider the separate selection of acoustic components, confirming suitability for the specific system. A network connection, analogue audio input and system BUS interface should not be treated as interchangeable solely because every device is called an amplifier. Check combinations for the exact models.

Prepare a description of the control you need

State whether local files, an external source or online services will be used and who will control the zones. In EKINEX , check the function of each reference. For the overall assembly, use audio and sound systems, separating sources, amplification and speakers in the enquiry. The configuration and electrical connections must be agreed with a qualified installer.
