Gripping and cutting require different choices
In Cobra pliers , the exact model 87 01 250 has a push button for adjustment and fine adjustment to different workpieces. The gripping surfaces have specially hardened teeth. For visible or delicate workpieces, assess the appropriate tool and surface protection; teeth are not a promise of mark-free work. This construction does not describe every other tool of this type.
Cutters, cable shears and combination pliers are compared according to their own applications. Do not transfer a permissible material or cutting capacity from one code to another. The ferrule determines the crimp
Among crimping pliers , 97 53 04 is specialised for wire-end ferrules with a square crimping profile. The model should not be selected for RJ45, open automotive terminals or photovoltaic connectors solely by the general operation name.
The set, case and spare part are separate items

The VDE designation does not confer live-working qualifications; the manufacturer restricts such work to trained specialists.
