KOUVIDIS at Latrand is represented by rigid and corrugated conduits, system accessories and junction boxes. Selection starts with the conduit construction and specific series. Size is the next step: an identical numerical designation alone does not establish compatibility between all conduits and fittings.

Rigid or corrugated conduit

SILCOR is a rigid conduit, while SIFLEX is a pliable corrugated conduit. Explore rigid conduits and corrugated conduits respectively, matching the construction to the planned route. This distinction matters more than the similar colour or size of two products. Do not treat the two constructions as universally interchangeable.

SILCOR and SIFLEX belong to the light-duty 320 N range, with different impact resistance — 2 J and 1 J respectively. These data apply to the stated families. The range also includes MEDISOL/MEDIFLEX, SUPERSOL/SUPERFLEX, DUROSOL/DUROFLEX, CONDUR and GEOSUB; characteristics of SILCOR/SIFLEX do not automatically determine the parameters of the other series or all PLUS variants.

External and internal diameters are not one number

Manufacturer tables distinguish the two diameters. For example, the exact SILCOR 1003016 has an external diameter of 16 mm and internal diameter of 13,8 mm, while SIFLEX 2003032 has 32 mm and 24,5 mm respectively. These are examples for specific codes, rather than universal ratios for every conduit. For comparison, retain the series, full reference and both dimensions.

The conduit accessories include clips, adapters, couplings, bends and organisers. Seek compatibility by system code and component size. A conduit's internal diameter is not a substitute for external diameter when selecting an accessory. A similar image does not prove the same series or manufacturer either.

Complete the list by individual component

For branching points, continue to junction boxes. Record the conduit, connecting elements, fasteners and boxes as separate items. This allows every connection in the selected solution to be checked without assuming that all accessories are included with the conduit. When replacing part of an existing route, the old component's full marking is more useful than an approximate judgement based on appearance.
