Door entry systems and doorbells

The “Intercoms and doorbells” section helps you choose between a call, a conversation with a visitor and a video system. Start with the function you want at the entrance, then distinguish the main devices, described kits and individual components for additions.

When a doorbell is needed

For the calling function itself, browse doorbells. Check whether the offer is a kit with a button, an individual doorbell or a complementary element. Check the connection method, power supply and place of use of each part. A wireless designation is insufficient for choosing any arbitrary additional button for an existing receiver.

Entrance conversation and image

For communication with a visitor, use intercoms and video intercoms. Have the number of entrances and users and the required audio or video functions to hand. For multiple users, check the call positions and expansion capabilities of the exact model instead of inferring them from the picture. Compare offers by their exact scope: a complete kit as described, an entrance panel and an indoor unit are different items. Check what is actually included and which components must be added separately.

When extending a system, start with the model and generation of the existing equipment. Check supported combinations, communication and power requirements for the specific products. A general IP designation, shared brand or similar front does not prove interchangeability between product families. Retain full references and suffixes when comparing similar models.

Additions and mounting parts

For faceplates, frames, mounting boxes and accessories, continue to intercom system components. Distinguish electronic function from the faceplate and mounting. Check supported modules, dimensions and package contents. An assembled panel image does not necessarily mean every part is included under one reference.

Offers from BTICINO and HIKVISION can be browsed by manufacturer. If the task is surveillance beyond entrance communication, explore cameras and video surveillance. The other main areas are in Security and intercoms . The final list must show the function, exact devices, power supply and mounting for every entrance. You then compare the entire configuration required instead of individual parts with similar names.
