Shelly at Latrand brings together devices for control, measurement and monitoring conditions in the home. Relays, dimmers, measuring modules, buttons and sensors are presented. The most useful starting point is to define the function, device location and system with which it will operate.

Start with the mounting format

For devices in an installation box, browse modules for installation box mounting. For distribution board layouts, there is a separate group of modules for DIN mounting, including Pro products. Plug & Play devices are another product group. This division helps compare similar formats before assessing the functions of the specific model.

A relay, dimmer and measurement module solve different tasks. If you need consumption metering, check whether the exact selected device has that function; do not infer it solely from “relay”. The same approach applies to generations and designations in the name: a similar name is not enough to establish identical capabilities.

Local control and exact model

For Shelly Plus 1 with code SNSW-001X16EU, the manufacturer states a potential-free dry contact, standalone local WiFi control and optional cloud functions. This model also has its own built-in web interface for configuration and control. This describes the specific device; it does not mean every integration works identically without internet or that models with PM and other generations have the same functions.

There are significant differences between buttons too. Shelly Button1 is a WiFi button with a rechargeable battery and MicroUSB 5 V for external power and charging. When comparing a button with a BLU device, check the exact model and communication method instead of assuming that devices with similar appearances use one protocol.

Select connected components together

For a system with Z-Wave, there is a separate Qubino Z-Wave modules section. This section does not make the other Shelly devices Z-Wave or prove Matter or Zigbee support in every model. Before choosing, compare the exact code, generation and control system requirements.

When adding to a solution, browse accessories according to the specific device. Record which functions are already provided and which are missing: control, metering, a button or a sensor. This lets you compare components by their system role without attributing one module's capabilities to the entire brand.
